Pete Tipping, Head Gardener with no staff, and Trudi Rehman, volunteer coordinator, have reported in their ‘posts’ (blogs) the recent development of the Garden by the University and the Friends of the Harris Garden. You can read about the very important roll played by the volunteers. Every Thursday morning sees a group of extraordinary volunteers at work in the Garden taking the chance to contribute to the success of the Garden. There’s also the chance to learn about plants and gardening by doing, and chatting during the coffee break.
